Billed Name: ___Relationship: ___
Pic Base: ___
Gimmick: Describe their persona in a few sentences.
- The stiff striking and aura of Katsuyori Shibata in that there's a calmness, but also a visceral allure. Can get sadistic as her blows get harder and more vicious the longer the match goes. It can take a dark turn to the point where it's almost as if she's working heel. This becomes more apparent against opponents who are smaller, which is nearly every other woman. It also comes out against Barbie Doll types and “walking jack off dreams,” who she has little to no respect for and will want to take them to school.
- Comes with all the fighting spirit and strong style tropes, so she still makes for a great underdog in the event where she is physically outmatched.
- Muay Thai style similar to Dieselnoi Chor Thanasukarn, who used his height (something Takeuchi can do against most women) and was an extremely effective knee striker, though Takeuchi herself is more known for punches and kicks.
- Super aggressive and her strikes often come in waves. Her long arms and legs make it even harder to get away.
- Elite stand-up game is rounded out by her dodging ability and KO resistance.
- Trained in the defensive aspects of Brazilian Jiu Jitsu with help from Sawtooth Grin. She's not well-versed in submissions, but has been heavily drilled in takedown defense and submission defense. It's damn tough to get her down and even then it's hard to put on a submission hold.
- She was trained by a deathmatch legend in the dojo of a deathmatch company. Death Trip Wrestling's Death Dojo is run by a drugged-out Satan-worshipping metal head who's known for nailing bunnies to steel chairs and hitting his students with them. She's been in there with some of the most dangerous at this point and won't shy from bloodshed. Forget trying to scare her if you're not a literal dragon or a murderous coprophile. This deathmatch background also accentuates her sadistic nature in the ring.
- Great with aerial attacks and not afraid to dive out of the ring.
- Intelligence. Very cerebral in how she approaches her matches and isn't going to lose her head out there. A lot of this has to do with growing up in a rough part of Osaka that is male dominant with many homeless who are former Yakuza, so she had to be smart and not just tough to survive. Also, after seeing Kawamata's brutal death (don't worry! He's alive... or, uh, undead), she has strong perspective on what's really important. That helps her maintain composure and she doesn't take herself too seriously, so good luck getting into her head just with insults.
- Speed. She can whip around the ring like nobody else. This makes even more cringe-inducing impact for moves like her penalty kick.
- Depending on her schedule, she could be prone to bleeding when a cut gets opened back up if she's competed in a deathmatch in less than two days prior. Bleeding brings out more thunder from Takeuchi as the match takes a turn toward the dramatic. This plays into the visceral allure that was mentioned before.
Finisher (Description): Over The Moon (Moonsault Double Foot Stomp to the ribs with graceful hang time. In more extreme moments, Hanako can do this with a steel chair placed on their ribs.)
Set-up [Optional] (Description): Yamanote-sen (Reverse Roundhouse Kick. Named after the circular Yamanote Line in Tokyo. This is her primary set-up for Over The Moon but could also be a knockout blow as she's won with it before. After all, the foundation of the art of Muay Thai is the roundhouse kick and this is a reverse one.)
Set-up [2] (Description): Spider Suplex, or basically just a German suplex from the top rope where she hooks her legs and stays safe while her opponent crashes. This is a great set-up for Over The Moon.
Alternate Finisher [Optional] (Description): Muay Thai Head Kick (It's what it says on the tin.)
Alternate Set-up [Optional] (Description): Don't need one. It can come from anywhere and Takeuchi could win matches at any moment. She famously won her first Union GP fight with one of these in 25 seconds.
Strengths:
1. Best striker in the world. Hands and feet are equally dangerous. She has enough knockout power to have KO'd a guy twice her size in a boxing match. As previously mentioned, she's KO'd someone in 25 seconds with a Head Kick. Takeuchi has also KO'd someone in MMA with a dazzling Spinning Back Fist.
2. Very fast runner. Very agile in general.
3. She came up at the DTW Death Dojo, so of course she's proficient in the deathmatch art. Her deathmatch upbringing also proves she has heart and toughness in abundance.
Weaknesses:
1. She's 136 pounds, so bigger and stronger opponents can throw her if they can somehow avoid not getting their head knocked off.
2. Very bitter and jaded. As stated, her style takes a dark turn to where she's almost working heel. Could easily get carried away if she's in a real foul mood and is just out to hurt her opponent, which could lead to a disqualification or the opponent sneaking a win with a sudden roll up.
3. Ground game isn't very good. She's trained in Brazilian Jiu Jitsu, but only in the submission defense and takedown defense aspects.
Favorite Match Stipulation: MMA, kickboxing, and deathmatch. Pick your poison.
Favorite Weapon: Blowtorch

Biography:
From the mean streets of Kamagasaki and the wild Osaka punk scene, Hanako Takeuchi graduated from DTW's Death Dojo then excelled in deathmatch wrestling while learning Muay Thai and becoming a title-winning boxer. Once deemed as second fiddle to longtime boyfriend and tag partner Masatake Kawamata, now Takeuchi is considered one of the most dangerous strikers on the planet and has knocked out a number of opponents that include grown men.
Jadedness and bitterness from her tough start in pro wrestling molded her in-ring style to be more cynical and sadistic – almost heel-like at times. There's a snarkiness in her promos and, like a stereotypical Osaka native, she's loud with an emphasis on humor. This brashness comes out in her marquee “blood and thunder” fighting style that led to two Union GP Performance of the Night awards at the time of this application.
She's won a few titles, including Iron Japan's Shoot Crown Championship (Shoot Crown Division bouts are similar to what one saw in Pancrase). She currently holds two title belts at this moment – Union Battleground Battalion Championship and IJPW Shoot Crown Championship. Hanako nearly won Death Trip Wrestling's Deathmatch Demolition II one-night tournament but fell in the final to someone who would win the company's World title in Josh Kennedy.
Hanako is a former bartender and a proud voice for the working class. She's about bringing back the real fight game – one built by former dockers, warehouse workers, and others whose backgrounds are opposite to those who come from famous families. Her father was a groundsman and her mother was a day laborer. They had three children to support in the roughest slum in Japan. This is why she's fiercely vocal with her values.
In regards to her identity, the City of Osaka doesn't put Kamagasaki on official maps due to its reputation. It's gritty with a lot of wild stuff going on, but there's also a lot of good and hard-working people. Bitterness is rife but some of the most optimistic people can be found in places like that with hopes and dreams. She's proud to be from there and considers herself to be a Kamagasaki woman more than a Japanese woman.
Hanako is a diehard fan of the Kansai region's beloved Hanshin Tigers baseball team. She doesn't get to attend many of their games these days. Her schedule is busy and her two places are in Tokyo and Long Beach. However, her boyfriend was on a famous billboard in Kansai promoting the team in the 2018 season. This helped strengthen their already strong following in that area.
Not only is Hanako proud to represent Real Killas MMA, but she has been a member of the legendary wrestling faction known as Filth Parade since Autumn 2017.
She's also a punk/northern soul/rare funk vinyl DJ. Hanako can play guitar and violin as well as sing. She showcases her musical talents with a Tokyo-based punk band called The Enforcers and sang in “Hallucination” by Scumbag Society.
She is co-owner of The Rumble Room – a wrestling/punk-themed performance space that is just a two minute walk from Korakuen Hall in Tokyo. The venue will open in January 2019.
She speaks fluent English with an accent that almost sounds entirely American with a slight Osaka tinge.
