Gimmick: A longtime veteran of the mat game, who has always struggled with managing his own mind as much as taking on opponents in the ring. He’s a fan favorite in Union Battleground for a run of super entertaining matches and high impact rivalries over Season 2. While he performed well, he lost more high profile matches than he won it was an enormous stress on an already troubled psyche. He’s a stark, serious trash talker who sees Union Battleground as his home and is willing to do whatever he can to protect it. A natural loner, he trusts no one but his wife and manager Alyssa. He's got a deep love for Union Battleground though and would be first in line to protect it if threatened.
Pic Base: Henry Cavill
Contract Deal: Full-Time
Theme Song: "I Am" by Hands like Houses
Entrance Description:
[ The grinding opening notes to Hands like Houses "I Am" come over the speakers and the lights dim, with blue and white spotlights surfing over the heads of the people in the audience. From the back, Alyssa Kincaid is the first through the curtain. She stands at the top of the aisle and shouts out to the people, before raising her hand and pointing toward the back. A moment later, Alex Kincaid whips through the curtain. He stands at the top of the ramp and slowly walks to one side, staring up to the audience before making his way back the other way. He then throws out a bunch and storms toward the ring, with Alyssa slapping hands with the people as they reach out for them. ]
♫
YOU'RE ONE OF A THOUSAND VOICES,
IN MY HEAD THEY ALL JUST SOUND THE SAME.
IF MINE NEVER MADE A DIFFERENCE,
IT WON'T MAKE THE MEANING CHANGE!
♫
[By now they’ve reached ringside. He completes a full lap of the ring, slapping hands with a few people while he nervously stares at the ring. Then he suddenly darts away from the crowd, leaping onto the apron and holding himself against the ropes. He stands and slips inside, watching his wife take position in his corner as he hops up to the middle buckle. He raises one hand high in the air - envisioning that mythical brass ring floating above his head - before he hops down and pulls off the leather vest he wears. He tosses it to his wife with a playful wink and then warming up against the ropes.]

Coup de Grâce Entrance Description: Let's cross that bridge when we come to it!
Relationship: Wife/Manager
Pic Base: Mandy Moore
Gimmick: Alyssa Kincaid, formerly Alyssa Paige, calls Alex her “savior” because in the old days he saved her from a broken, abusive home and taught her that there could be light at the end of the tunnel. She’s a creature of contrasts. On one level, she’s a cheerful girl next door who only wants the best for her family. She loves her husband, her fans, and their adopted daughter Maggie and is always the first one to volunteer for fan events and the like to get their name out there. On the other hand, she’s a brilliant businesswomen who is chiefly responsible for building the “Bullet King” brand that made the two of them financially secure for the rest of their lives.
In terms of how she supports Alex, when he starts to crack under the pressure she’s there to remind him what he’s fighting for. He leans heavily on her, and portraying his relationship with her is a vital part of his character. She’s not just some pretty girl at ringside, she’s his primary motivator. A look through the ropes at her when he’s down and out can put him back on the comeback trail, a bit of tactical advice from her at the right moment can be what turns a match around. Deep down, she knows the darkness that Alex carries in his core. She knows how hard it is for him to fight the anger he’s got deep in his gut. And she knows - more than anyone - that sometimes she has to let it off the leash.
Finisher: The Clutch (Anaconda Vice)
Set-up [Optional] (Description): Uranage or Hip Toss
Alternate Finisher [Optional] (Description): From On High! (Frog Splash/Frog Splash style crossbody)
Alternate Set-up [Optional] (Description): The Flying Lariat (Running, jumping seated lariat)
Strengths:
1. Physicality: Alex Kincaid has made himself perfectly comfortable with being uncomfortable. He's a pitbull, all too happy to take an opponent to the mat and rip them apart. He's the guy who drives his head into you in the collar and elbow tie up, the guy who grinds his forearm into the bridge of your nose on the pin cover and the guy who needs to have his own brain rattled a little bit to really get the contest going. You're rarely going to see him back down from physical pressure.
2. The Wife: Alyssa’s presence at ringside is absolutely vital to his success. She’s a better tactical thinker than he is, and their relationship often pushes him to keep going when deep down he wants to quit. It’s extremely common to see him keep pushing himself further and further because she spurs him to keep going, and as such, his performance often suffers when she isn’t at ringside with him.
3. Well Honed Arsenal: In his return to the ring in early 2019, Alex has gone back to a few standby holds from very early in his career. The Clutch was the first finishing move he regularly used. From On High! was the first high flying move he made a name for himself doing. As such, he is extremely comfortable with these moves. He's got a thousand and one ways to pull an opponent into The Clutch and he rarely goes for the Splash unless he's sure he'll hit it. Does it make him a tad predictable? Absolutely. But like a pitcher with a great fastball, just because you know it's going to happen it doesn't mean you can stop it.
Weaknesses:
1. Knee Injury: Years and years of wear and tear from an extremely physical style has worn down his left knee quite a bit. He throws a lot of weight around on them, and targeting them is the easiest way to slowly take The Bullet King apart. It’s a famous injury and he’s been around long enough that every opponent is aware of it. Think Rollins’ knee or Shawn Michaels back. It’s extremely rare for an opponent NOT to go after it, and for Kincaid to grit his way through.
2. Inferiority Complex: Kincaid desperately, desperately wants to find a new home promotion after years of being a journeyman. Because he’s never quite been the success he feels he should be, he’ll pick fights that he shouldn’t pick and try to match opponents on their terms. He’ll try to outwrestle superior grapplers, or outpower much stronger wrestlers, only to get blasted and have to find his way back. He often samples an opponents game and can find himself in deep, dangerous water easier than he expects.
3. Easily Shook: Alex has a very simple idea of what he thinks wrestling should be: Two guys, bell to bell going after the big win. When things stray from that formula he doesn’t always know how to deal with it. Writers, this is the character you shouldn’t have be afraid to go all bug eyed when the supernatural character shows or or show real fear when some hardcore lunatic comes charging the ring with a weapon. He pushes on, through the fear, as best he can but he will clearly be put off when things get wild.
