Kind of crazy to think this was Union Battleground’s 50th event, but if I’m being honest, I thought it was a great turn out. The RPs once again were stellar and made for some very difficult decisions. I’m enjoying the fact we are establishing a pretty consistent “roster” which has got me thinking of pushing toward a more regular, maybe even biweekly, schedule. For this show, we aimed to be a little more wrestling based with the matches, considering the absolute chaos that was Guerrilla Warfare. Big ups for Crimson who wrote the entire show and has been the brains behind all of the wild and crazy spots this season. Overall, I thought this show further pushed everyone’s narrative, and had some great surprises. What did you all think?

b]Best Match:[/b] I have to go with Anna vs Kaven. Anna really brought it in her writing and Kaven always delivers and I feel it got translated so well in the writing of the match
Best Segment: Give it to Indi on this one.
Best Spot: Don’t have just one.
Best Moment: hard to pick one
Biggest Surprise: Perry Wallace endorsement of Dakota
Biggest Upset: don’t think there was any real upsets here.
MVP: Anna. She didn’t win but I really liked her piece.

Best Match: I enjoyed most of the matches, but I think I'll have to show some bias and go with the main event.
Best Segment: I really enjoyed the Pete/Wynne segment over the fountain...lol
Best Spot: It's not everyday you see someone get a Claw Hammer to the shoulder.
Best Moment: I think this ties with Biggest Surprise, but I thought it was a great angle for Perry to come out and endorse Dakota as champion and promote the idea that the belt will now reside in 4CW. That adds a layer to the champion, championship, and the upcoming match at the next PPV against Williams.
Biggest Surprise: See the answer for Best Moment.
Biggest Upset: I don't know if I'd say there was an upset. The reality is, everyone is on point, and it's got to be a judging nightmare. If you're going to lose, at least it's nice to lose against people that have talent.
MVP: Bryan WIlliams. Chicken Head reigns supreme!
Constructive Criticism: The show had a nice flow to it, and everyone's segments helped bolster the narrative moving forwards. I'm looking forward to the next card which should hold lots of stakes for everyone involved.
Other Notes: Small confession. I enjoy playing around with Bobby Benson, and I thought he was beautifully used in the Main Event. Pete has signed with him, which wasn't necessarily planned. What I do with Bobby is usually have him show up and sell himself to whoever, and however that character reacts is their real reaction. True Roleplaying. Pete just so happened to be a character who saw himself sold on the idea, and now we'll see where that goes. If ANYONE wants to do a spot with Bobby in the future, let me know. I'm doing my best to make him a cross brand entity as he's in Union Battleground with James, showing up in IPW with Pete, and even in [R]ev Pro. He's also a very universal character that can be written by anyone, so if you were to want to use him in some fashion, I'm down for that too. Just let me know.
