Becky Balfour stormed into the correct gym this time, just over an hour after her mishap with showing up at the wrong gym, only to be confronted by ‘The Dropkick King’, Adrien Cochrane. The blonde walked with a purpose as she spotted her boyfriend, fellow member of #TheSociety Seth Lawless running the ropes in the practice ring.
Becky Balfour: Seth, you won’t believe what just happened to me.
The bald wrestler stops in the middle of the ring as sweat glistens down his shirtless body. He looks out at Becky who doesn’t look happy at all.
Becky Balfour: I went to the wrong gym. I had one follower with me. I specifically told him NOT to let anyone in and what happens? ADRIEN COCHRANE shows up and scares him off. Seth...this can’t happen! Do you realize what kind of position that put me in?
Seth Lawless: Wait so are you really going to blame me for asking you to go to the gym and Adrien showing up there?
He shakes his head as he leans over the ropes and looks at his girlfriend.
Seth Lawless: At least you are alright and you made it to the right gym this time. Look, when you face Adrien you are going to beat him but aren’t you a little obsessed with him right now?
Seth shrugs his shoulders as he looks at her. He then turns around and hits the ropes a few times before turning his attention back at her.
Becky Balfour: I wasn’t even trying to blame to you. I was venting. Forget it.
Becky kicks over a jug of Gatorade that was on the floor near the ring and sits on the bench, frustrated.
Becky Balfour: And I’m not obsessed. There’s just something about him and I want to prove to myself that I can beat him. That I’M better than him.
The blonde had planned on training, but after going to the wrong gym and now her initial reaction with Seth, her mood was quickly deteriorating. Seth stops in the middle of the ring and looks at her and shakes his head.
Seth Lawless: So you’ll sit there and pout because Adrien got one up on you? This isn’t the Becky I know. The Becky I know would get in here slap the taste out of my mouth and then go on about her day. I know you want to prove that you are better than him and all of that. Hell, I have faced him and he beat me so I’d LOVE for you to beat him. But sitting there pouting isn’t going to get it done.
He shakes his head as he steps out of the ring and picks up the spilt Gatorade.
Seth Lawless: Don’t let him get to you. Please.
Becky Balfour: You’re right.
Her face remained looking at the ground as she fidgeted with her hands in her lap.
Becky Balfour: What about the Follower though? I gave him one simple order of direction. That’s it. And he disappeared. We can’t lose control. I need you to make sure they understand that they are to listen to me.
Becky rose from the bench and walked over to Lawless who was spinning the now empty Gatorade jug around in his hand.
Becky Balfour: This movement...it’s bigger than us, but it IS ours. It isn’t mine. You realize that, right?
Seth Lawless: I get that.
He takes a deep breath and then tosses the Gatorade jug into the trash. He grabs Becky by the arms and forces her to look at him.
Seth Lawless: That Follower was wrong and I will deal with him when we are done here. He will never do that again and I will put his head on a silver platter for everyone else to see. Then HOPEFULLY they will realize if they put you into danger I will take care of them. I should have been there I would have fended off Adrien…
He sighs as he looks at her. Becky’s eyes lit up seeing the fire in Seth. She was accomplishing exactly what she wanted to.
Becky Balfour: You will be there when we eventually have our match, but for now, let’s keep things strong with our Society. With Zaylee taking a break, we need to continue to build. There’s no time to slow down. Is there anything I can do to help you? I want to be there for you just as much as you are for me.
Seth kisses her and shakes his head.
Seth Lawless: You don’t need to help me with anything. Maybe, we need one more piece with Zay taking a break we might have lost a piece. I’m not saying we replace her but maybe we mold someone else. What do you think?
Becky Balfour: It would have to feel right. They would have to come from where we come from. Nothing.
Becky pulls back and sits down on the bench.
Becky Balfour: I didn’t mean to distract you from your workout. I think today I’m going to spectate. Show me what you’ve got. Remember, you are our enforcer.
He nods his head and sits down next to her.
Seth Lawless: And you are our mouth piece and sorry that I brought up replacing her it is just something I was thinking about. We don’t have to do it, she will come back and I know that. Just keep focused on your upcoming match. Adrien will happen when it happens and you will beat him as well. We need this.
Becky Balfour: You know the funniest thing about everything? For everyone that questions our ethics, our morals, or the content of our characters, they can’t deny our talent.
Her eyes are straight ahead as two more people have now occupied the ring.
Becky Balfour: It’s going to come for you too. Keep your head in the game, and let me do what I can for us. I might gain us the attention that we deserve, but you will be the champion. I’ll make sure of it.
Becky places her hand on the lap of Seth Lawless. She realizes how close of a call she had earlier, and although she wouldn’t show it for the cameras, with them turned off it was clear that she was still a bit shook up.
Becky Balfour: Maybe we should actually leave for the day. I kind of want to get home. Would that be okay with you?
Seth gets up and pulls her up alongside of him. He grabs her hand and walks out of the gym with her. He knew he wanted to train but with what she had gone through it was best for them to leave. He was proud of her but he also knew they had a lot of work in front of them. The couple walked out of the gym together, hand in hand, ready for the future.
