Not everyone is built like Bullet Barerra. You're not gonna find many people who can be so cold yet thoughtful at the same time. As much enemies she has made over the months she sure has made herself a fair share of friends as well. When you live like her it's good to have solid people in your corner.
So far things haven't been that solid career wise for Blue. She expected to become the first Everest Featherweight Champion but that didn't happen. She went out and expected herself to win the Guerilla Warfare match but that didn't happen. Since then Blue hasn't fought and has used her time to reflect and evaluate. She didn't wanna look like she couldn't get the job done anymore. Especially when you pride yourself on all the hard work you put in.
This was a new beginning for Bullet. One that many would question if she is ready for but being Bullet Barerra it seems that you have to be ready for everything. She's been the talks for a lot of people. Has repeatedly talked herself into holes she can't get out of, but that's something she knows because she put herself there.
From day one Bullet Barerra has been a topic. Is this something Blue imagined? You can bet your ass off she did. What lies underneath that thick skin of hers is a genius. Someone who can pull the strings that need to be pulled. That's what Bullet does. Even if the things she does doesn't sit well with others they work for Blue. Some may call it antics. Ask Blue what it's called and she'll tell you ticket selling.
It was something she deemed herself after her first pro Mixed Martial Arts fight. She felt that rush of knowing she did everything she could possibly do to gather as much attention to her Main Event. It was huge and Bullet made it that way. She felt her job was ninety percent done. All she had to do now was go out and win. She didn't but that didn't phase her one bit. Her confidence never falted. She's remained the same person she was before her career started.
Now Bullet finds herself in a place where maybe she's doing too much, but what's too much when you literally want everything at your foot? Don't get Bullet wrong there is work to be put in and that's exactly what she's going to do. Matter of factly she's working right now as she walks down the this busy street on this nippy night. In hand she's carrying around some flyers for Union's upcoming Lights Out passing them out to everyone she encounters.
"I never thought that things would move so quickly for me." she started. "At first all I really wanted to do was just step inside the cage...win and leave. When I felt that ring at Guerilla Warfare and tasted what it was like to be a pro wrestler I told myself there was no way I can turn around from here. No looking back." Not at all. That's not in her make up. It's like an animal tasting blood for the first time. One taste is all it takes.
"Now here I am ready to embark on this road that is sure to be a bit rocky but never the less one I am prepared for. I mean, I'm always prepared even when it seems like maybe i'm not, but trust me don't let others narratives of me be the bases of who I am. You see E.W if you listened to the analyst. If you view the vlogs they all say the same thing about me. I only wanna be a social media darling." Her eyes cuts as she hands another flyer out.
"That's crazy. People telling me that my life is social media..I can see why. I'm known to cause a little controversy but social media star...come on." Bringing herself to a knee she hands some little freckled face boy a flyer.
"Make sure you watch this. Your future depends on it." Those remarks not settling well with his mother but Blue could care less.
"You know...I just don't think they've seen someone as motivated as me E.W and neither have you. Everyday I wake up and I live this shit. I live this life because it's the only one I wanna live. There's not a second that goes by that I'm not happy about the person I'm becoming and growing into. Can you say the same for yourself E.W?" she ask. "You are at that point in life where everything should be good. Worries shouldn't even be a thing. The grass should be hella green. But yet you're here for I guess what can be a last go around? Why now though, what happened to all the years wasted before this?" She couldn't help but wonder. The temperature is getting lower and lower. There is a trail of smoke leaving with every word.
"They've paired us together to compete at this show and at first I was like really man? Ya'll want me to run circles around this fifty plus year old man and then I thought well if he's here he must can compete and no matter how old you are a fight can always be won, but for you E.W this just won't be the one for you. Not this night. I have to start things off on the best foot I can. That's how I got signed here to compete anyway. Showing that this potential is real. The talent is there, and at Light Outs I have the perfect chance to show that."
On the flyer Bullet had it set up to where her versus E.W is the main event even though it's not. She hands another person a flyer ans couldn't help but to point out one thing.
"Yeah, i'm pretty sure you don't know him but that's alright. Just watch blueTv and let me be the voice for you...oh, your future depends on it bro."
It's no question Blue has also dubbed herself as the voice of the youth. Hell, she's dubbed herself a lot of things that she's aching to live up too.
"I'm taking everything that I've been learning and I'm ready to showcase it to the world. There have already been plenty people doubting me. Telling me that I will never amount to anything all because they can't handle the truth. I never wanna tell anybody a lie, so I would be lying to you if I told you that I'm not a little nervous about coming into this fight. It's me who they wanna see lose so they can laugh it up and everything in me can't let that happen." She's been out here for sometime now and finally passed out her last flyer. She tugs on the string around her hoodie tightening it around her head before blowing into her cold her hands.
"Look at it this way...when you make a quick name like mine it's hard for you to see yourself not at the top of your game. You see everybody around you rising and doing things that you know you should be doing. Most people they'll crack when they feel all the pressure, but it's different when you put all the pressure on yourself. I've beaten myself up for allowing myself to fall victim to people I should be mopping the floors with. With every loss they take me as a joke. I'm here to tell them that the joke will always be on them."
The pressure for results have been mounting quickly for Bullet. Everything she says is not taken with a grain of salt. For someone who hasn't been a pro for more than a year yet the expectations are super high for Bullet Barerra.
"You might gotta lot of victories left in your bag E.W. You might actually go on to do everything in your career that you set out to do...but at Light Outs I can't let you steal my thunder. There is a bigger picture here...and the frame isn't big enough for the both of us." She shoots the finger guns before everything fades.
