Defeating Chloe Dupont wasn't that easy, but Britain managed to walk away with a victory. Britain was ready for her next challenge and her next opponent. Her second match with Union Battleground was going to be just that... A challenge. Something that she welcomed in the ring and in her life. This pretty face didn't back down from anything or anyone.
The Battle of Los Angeles was turning out to be a huge event. Media from all walks wanted a piece of the action, to speak with the wrestlers involved. So that left the Ohio native to herself for a moment to check her messages on her cell. Just some from friends, especially from her bestie telling her to pick up her DAMN phone. That's where it ended. No bye or call me back later. Nothing. She had her back facing towards all the action, as she puts her cell away. It wasn't long before she felt a tap on her shoulder causing her turn around. She's surprised to see who was standing in front of her.
That sunshine smile she is known for comes creeping on her face, embracing her friend Peter.
These two have known each other close to a year already, meeting on his radio show. Back then she had been wrestling for PWA. Britain was the typical social butterfly and it wasn't hard for her to make friends wherever she went.
She did a silly dance to herself, laughing softly.
Her and her biological mother don't have a past, however, talking as if they did was stomach churning for her. And most of the time the subject came up with her other friends, she played the whole thing cool so they didn't worry about it. She wasn't unfamiliar with people going from her life. She survived when her mom left right after she was born... and she was coping with Keelan leaving. When he left, she was lost. She lost herself in her work, in her friends who only cared to party, in whoever paid attention to her. Strange how Keelan leaving affected her more than her mother ever could.
Most of the people here were from the media and the rest were the Union Battleground roster. Britain had a great suggestion in mind as her fellow colleagues were spread throughout the place. Some of them in their line of vision. One in particular catches Peter's eye.
He nudges her with his elbow and points in the direction of Saito, who seemed to be so out of place. Britain stopped breathing for a quick second when she realized who he was pointing at. Britain makes him lower his hand and out of Saito's way.
She said defeated.
He chuckles patting her on the back and walks in the direction he was going before stopping to talk to her. Since her radio jockey friend was safe, Britain heads in the opposite direction to grab a bottle of water and see what was next for her today.

Peter Rosenberg: Hey, Britain. It's so great to see you.
That sunshine smile she is known for comes creeping on her face, embracing her friend Peter.
Britain Jade: It's great see you as well. I didn't know you were coming.
Peter Rosenberg: Whenever there's a big wrestling event, I'm there like a pear.

Britain Jade: Maybe that could be your whole shtick. Beware of the pear.
Peter Rosenberg: Haha that's sounds fucking dope. I'd imagine that would be a heel persona and being all douchey and throwing pears at the fans. If I could get away with that without any lawsuits coming at me, then sign me up.
Britain Jade: Hahaha can you just imagine their reaction to that? Brilliant.
Peter Rosenberg: So, how the hell are ya? How long has it been, a year or so?
Britain Jade: Sounds about right. But I've been good. I took a break from wrestling for awhile there and I'm back here, and ready to get it going.
Peter Rosenberg: I heard about that. I'm glad to know that you're getting things back on track with your wrestling career. Gotta represent the jewish community.
Britain Jade: That's right, gotta rep like there's no tomorrow.
She did a silly dance to herself, laughing softly.
Peter Rosenberg: After all this time we've known each other- I'm still fascinated by that. Like I always bring up wrestling to some of my guests on the show and I mention you to them. Then I'm like 'can you believe that girl is jewish?' That's how shocked I still am.
Britain Jade: Well, you better believe it because I'm loud and proud of it. Haha
Peter Rosenberg: Which one of your parents is the lucky one?
Britain Jade: My dad. I'm actually going to Oakwood next month for Passover.
Peter Rosenberg: Really?
Britain Jade: Yeah. We do it every year.
Peter Rosenberg: Same with my family. We always gather for a big feast at my parents place. What about your mom?
Britain Jade: I have a step-mother...
Peter Rosenberg: Is your biological mother deceased or something?
Britain Jade: To me? Pretty much. I don't want that to come off as rude or anything, but my birth mother hasn't been apart of my life... Ever. I mean she's out there somewhere living her fabulous life with her cute children.
Peter Rosenberg: Man, that's messed. Sorry for bringing it up.
Britain Jade: It's not even close to the whole story, but it's fine. I knew that it would be brought up in some capacity and I'm glad it was you and not someone who's trying to get a story out of me.

Britain Jade: Plus it's not what my life is. I'm happy and healthy.
Peter Rosenberg: Which are positives to be. You should come down to NY again and we'll have you on the show. Talk a little wrestling, Union Battleground and others you might watch. Do you still go around watching shows?
Britain Jade: Yeah, I try to. It's kind of hard to enjoy the show when you're sitting front row and people are taking your picture or even a selfie. Not that I mind. It's like til the show is over and then ask me.
Peter Rosenberg: It's a courtesy thing.
Britain Jade: Exactly. I'm just there to enjoy the show and chill with my friends.
Peter Rosenberg: That should go without saying. So tell me... Who here should I be talking to today? There's a lot of legit talent here but I want to talk with the best.

Peter Rosenberg: What about her over there?
He nudges her with his elbow and points in the direction of Saito, who seemed to be so out of place. Britain stopped breathing for a quick second when she realized who he was pointing at. Britain makes him lower his hand and out of Saito's way.
Britain Jade: She's perfect. I mean if you want your arm removed from it's socket or your finger missing. I wouldn't point in her direction if I were you. And I wouldn't look in her direction either if you love to sleep at night.
Peter Rosenberg: What's wrong with her?
Britain Jade: She's like the little girl from Ringu. I honestly believe that if you mention her in any capacity that you only have seven days to live... I'm risking my life just even talking about her.
Peter Rosenberg: You're just being over dramatic.
Britain Jade: What?! I heard when an octopus gets stressed it eats itself!
Peter Rosenberg: I'm gonna go talk to her.
Britain Jade: No! You'll get killed. Go talk to Emery, she's a badass.
Peter Rosenberg: I'm going over.
Britain Jade: Okay. Fine.
She said defeated.
Peter Rosenberg: I'm going...
Britain Jade: Okay. I already had the outfit I want to wear to your funeral. Go meet your maker.
Peter Rosenberg: Just kidding. I'll go chat up Emery. It was great talking with you.
Britain Jade: It was a nice surprise seeing you.
Peter Rosenberg: Good luck with the company, and you better come down to NY for my show.
Britain Jade: I'll see what the ol' manager has to say.
He chuckles patting her on the back and walks in the direction he was going before stopping to talk to her. Since her radio jockey friend was safe, Britain heads in the opposite direction to grab a bottle of water and see what was next for her today.
