I have noticed since I started here that several of the handlers also run their characters in some of the affiliate feds. I am not very familiar with this whole community or any of our affiliates. I've also noticed how some of our talent will compete in some of the affiliate feds for bigger events and represent Union Battleground. I love that idea and I'm looking to get involved in something like that. I'm just looking for some background info and advice on some of the affiliates. Any help I can get would be appreciated. I'm not really looking to join another fed, just represent our spot as Dillon Shaw or maybe even join some sort of Team Union Battleground with some others to get a team going. Also, if you feel like there's a certain spot I should specifically look into for any reason or would be a good place for me to start, let me know.

I know Emery is traveling the circuits defending the trench war title, and most in here are in at least one other fed (Trixie's in like 17 lol) I guess it all depends on what suits you. As far as I know with the battleground network partner Feds, XWA is a match writing fed, Seattle pro and GOL are angle, I believe UKWF and MCW are micro rp judged fed, and unleashed is a MMA rp judged fed. I could be wrong on some of those though.
If you're looking for something not on a full schedule, GOL and Seattle pro are monthly. And I believe Seattle pro doesn't do RPs for matches, it's all CD and winners are determined by Twitter activity.
Hope this helps. I do like the idea of assembling a UB crew and rep us for a change instead of the other way around. Good idea dude!
That's what I was thinking...maybe do a joint event down the road with one or two of the feds from the network and set up a War Games style match with teams representing different feds.

I would be in favor for something like this, although from what I've heard and read, interpromotional events can be tricky, as it could be misconstrued to bias outcomes. But I feel like it could be a possibility with the promotions we're partnered with.
In the past when I used to run co-promoted events with my fed, I would ask a third fed-head who wasn't involved in the event from a booking standpoint to act as a guest judge.

I don't know anything about the affiliates we have, but i can tell you about the main place i'm at. FIW is an rp fed judged by 3-5 people i think. But yeah they are a competitive rp fed that allows as many rps as you want with no word limit, so in theory you could write a novels worth in a week and a half if you really wanted to. If i was your opponent i'd probably cry for having to read that much, but you could do that there.
They give you heck of allot of shots and chances to get a title or two too. My second match i was fighting for their mid-card title and a year later i got another title match with kira and a tag title match with two other wrestlers i have. A UB vs FIW or UB vs (other major heel stable) could be cool just don't know if the fed head there would agree to it, and if folks here would like or be used to how things are there. Would be super cool though to have a 6 or 8 man/woman tag match though.
It would be tough to go back to no limit rping for me. I had a few lengthy runs with the FGA Championship back when it was still a role playing fed. Got to the point I was writing 4,000-5,000 words for every match. No thanks.
Man, I remember those 5k+ weekly days. When I first started in APW, to be in the main event you had to consistently put out 10k+ RPs. It was exhausting, but super fun and competitive.
I am also interested in finding a tag partner and trying to win gold somewhere. This would be a new team with new characters. I've never run a team with another person in this game, so I'd like to give it a shot. I will work with anyone.
