So has anyone had a chance to watch Wrestle Kingdom 11 yet? I've been meaning too but life gave me a swift kick to the penninsula south of the equator, as Mauro Ranallo would say.
I am hearing that Omega v. Okada is being lauded as one of the greatest matches of all time.

That would be insane! WWE does enjoy throwing in a major surprise entrant or two, but I don't have faith they'd pull off something like this. But I do believe we'll see an NXT guy in there... 🤔

Only recently found out today that Omega's New Japan deal ends January 31st, unless I missed it and it was public knowledge. If WWE buys out the contract I doubt we will see him in the Royal Rumble
I watch tons of Japan and other promotions from UK.. WK11 and NEW YEARS DASH was crazy.. but i cant wait to see the UK tournament, hope it is as good as the Cruiserweight one plus WWE will be doing a women's one soon
BTW, if people cant find it.. just search streaming sites..
WK 11 was awesome. Every match was amazing excluding the rumble but that is supposed to be more silly than great. Omega vs Okada was definitely one of the best matches I've every seen.
About Omega going to WWE i dont think it is going to happen even though i want it too so badly. There are reports he still has a year under his NJPW contract and then there's interview he did recently where he said he wpuld rather be known as the legend who never step foot in WWE. So while i will hope he is in the RR match. I wont hols my breath
I've only seen Omega vs. Okada, but that was worth watching in it's self. I'm one of these fans who'll watch WWE more than the indies or anything in Japan. I used to be really big on it all, but I don't have as much access to it or as much time, but I've known Kenny Omega and how good he is for years and I'm so glad that he has become, arguably, the most talked about man in professional wrestling as a result of this match. He thoroughly deserves it.
I don't think he'll go to WWE like people are speculating. After a match like that, if I'm New Japan, I'm gonna offer him ANYTHING to keep him. With NJPW trying to go global, they need all the stars they can get. They lost Devitt, AJ, the Club and Nakamura over the years, it's in their best interests to keep the guys they have now if they really wanna take off in the way they do. Plus, Kenny seems to really like the idea of never going to WWE, which is fair enough, but he's in a position where people need HIM now.
People are gonna be so disappointed when he DOESN'T appear in the Rumble.
If you haven't watched it, I recommend doing so. It's... Incredible. I don't know any other way of describing it. The Omega match might've been the best match I've ever watched. The fact that they still protected the One-Winged Angel through all of it, too, was impressive.
DJS is right, people are gonna be disappointed when he's not in the Rumble. But, he's still got a year with NJPW on his contract, so he can't do it unless they lease him out (which, if I was NJPW, there's no way in hell I do).
