Kimitsu Zombie stands in front of a mirror with a robe on. Her reflection looks into the camera and she appears hesitant and almost shy. She takes a small breath and raises her chin. The robe comes off and reveals the rest of her body in a bikini. She looks down and passes a hand over her torso and smiles. Her back tattoo of a geisha is impressive but some small sections ragged, scraped and scarred with some of the scars being tattooed over to become a part of the piece. We follow her gaze and under her fit torso, her wrists have some scars that are a bit too neat to come from fighting. As her hand passes over them she darts another glance to the camera. She closes her eyes for a bit then turns and struts to a couch in the room with the silk robe billowing behind her . She sits down like a Queen sitting on her throne.
“So. I’ve only been doing this wrestling thing for a short time now and in that time I’ve fought all types of matches and fought against all sorts of people. As you can see my life has been eventful and you can see the effects of the fighting all over me. Fighting with myself and with others. I got my demons…”
She tries to wrap the robe over her arm.
"As as for others, I’ve fought people I’ve idolized and people I pity. The one thing I’ve learned is that you are sometimes only as good as your last match in the eyes of the people. The ones that follow Union Battleground know that I am coming from a lost to Xion Ben-Judah and I am not going to challenge for my first title here. Those that follow me know that the reason Xion Ben-Judah won was because I inspired him to be the best and most violent he could be. You should have seen his eyes in that match. He was the killer I demanded him to be. I know he wrote me off as some druggie with a knife but he would have been nothing if I didn’t goad him on. He had nothing on me. I brought back that soldier. I forced him to adapt into that killer of men again and that is what it took to defeat me. He claims that would have been the end of me but I survived. If he’s any smart he would keep this mindset for Emery Layton. But I’m not in that title run anymore so who gives a shit?"
She leans forward and smirks.
“I’d thought I’d beat my opponent at her own game this time around. So how am I doing lesbians and gents? Do I look better than Trixie? Am I being hot enough to book in hundreds of shows? Are you excited to see me defend the vanity belt that is the Kimitsu Championship and try to give myself a shred of credibility that I can’t get with a legitimate title? Am I pretty? Tell me, please.”
She scowls and leans back into the couch.
“Because I need it so.”
Kimitsu closes her eyes and sighs. When she opens them she doesn’t seem to be acting for the camera anymore.
“So I finally get to face Trixie. We have both been wrestling professionally for the same amount of time. I wonder how it’s taken this long to finally match up with her since she signs on for any promotion that will give her camera time. She is lucky, though, because her story would have taken a different turn if the had fought me earlier. She has been prattling on working everywhere acting like a workhorse but in actuality she is nothing but an attention whore. If the storied past with the Trixie Championship is anything to go by she is just traveling around trying to get some credibility. She is nothing but a fan with a wish but without the skill to back it up. Sure, she’s won titles but you gotta ask, folks, how she is getting those shots. I am not one to shame a slut or even use that word but you look at barbie dolls like Trixie and you have to wonder.”
She winks.
“So as we have been wrestling for about the same amount of time let’s look at where I have been. As you can tell I do not back down from any sort of match. My training has prepared me to fight against any sort of opponent. I am comfortable going against strikers, submissionists, and the hardcore brawlers. I have faced ruthless technicians and crazed psychopaths. In my short career I have fought inside basketball gyms, rec rooms, arenas, and stadiums. I have fought cages surging with electricity and boiling with fire. I am prepared for anything.”
“Meanwhile I remember Trixie being afraid of a simple ladder match. I’m sure after going through your career you are going to brag about all the vets you have faced and what you did to them from superkicking them in the face to getting a surprise neckbreaker or two. The difference between me and them is that you have never faced a hungry Zombie before. I come from a loss in this company. I inspired my opponent to be greater than he really is to defeat me and surprise me he did. So now I come back to restore my name and get back my lost momentum. I lost to Jove Belane and I mauled Isaiah Eliot. Elsewhere, in 4CW, I lost to Lauryn Wolfe and came back to embarass Luke Jones again. Now after Xion you should worry about what is going to happen to you.”
Kimitsu taps her head and leans forward ignoring any sense of glamor.
“There is something up with me up here I think. I don’t know if it is due to my unorthodox training. I was taught discipline and savagery by two men that are polar opposites. Certain things have been demanded of me and my values are all chopped and screwed. That may have fucked with me but I use my skills to fulfill this need I have to want to intimidate people. I do try to mold them into being better than they are, like Xion. I think that’s why I don’t think being a bully is a bad thing and damn if I’m not good at it. Just look at my body. It has been molded for more than looks. I am a machine that is wired and coded to beat people up. I knead people like dough and what they come out as after my fire is something good. You, Trixie, I can show how to be loyal.
“You do not need to go off in search of fame from every talent agent that gives you a little attention at the bar. You don’t have to try and stretch yourself so thin by going for so many titles that you have to make one up yourself. You even got folks pitying you and handing them back after beating you. That’s not a good look, honey. Since you are going to surely try to defend this by listing all the shit you’ve donw and all the belts you hold I will remind you that working for a singular goal. A great goal and facing tough, consistent competition makes this goal worthwhile. My title wins are well fought and earned. Not payed for with brownie points.”
Kimitsu stands tall and places a hand on her hip.
“So barbie doll show me what your career is really worth. You are a nice girl that tries to make friends with people and you try to get by with your spunk but I am a fighter. No amount of practicing your kicks or mentally preparing to slap on a submission from anywhere will prepare you for me. We’re just made differently. Bred to be different things. So when a darling little grappling up and comer like you comes up against a fighting machine like me the outcome is almost a given. Notice I didn’t say it was set in stone because you can surprise me, but you’re no killer like Xion. You’re just a sweet little girl from Las Vegas trying to get attention in this thing of ours. You don’t have the skill and you don’t have the heart. The looks and the attitude have gotten you this far but, Trixie, I will show you what it really takes to be a fighter. You can thank me after you bow.”
She blows a kiss to the camera and smiles before shaking her head and walking away.
INT. TRIXIE'S HOME - TRIXIE'S TRAINING ROOM - AUGUST
We open to Trixie standing in her home gym with her ring behind her, name on the apron obviously. But Trixie has set out a display. Team Firepower, the Tag Team Trixie formed with Jan Van Der Roost was resembled on a t-shirt. She adjusts the shirt on the stand so it's wrinkle free.
To her left, Trixie has her latest Redemption T-Shirt. "No Handouts, Just Plenty of Superkicks" with a number of hashtags on the back she'd added over her career.
#SexyNeckbreakerOuttaNowhere from her EWC Prime continuing tenure for her finisher she catches people from anywhere.
#SuperkickToTheDick a new one she created for her tenure in Shoot Society.
#TrixieBrand obviously for her whole brand
#TrixieChampion to honour Union Battleground and her rise to that champion.
#BeautifulStorm for the Tag Team she created with Tornado.
A Trixie Brand cloth currently covers a square like board. Trixie stands in the middle of all this, her ring behind her. A red Union Battleground shirt on, cut off to expose her navel with a pair of black shorts.
TRIXIE: "It's been a while Union, but the Trixie Champion is…Back.”
Trixie says leaning down to pull up the Trixie Title she'd mainly been competing for all season and won against Anton Chase in their final confrontation. Trixie looks right at her firepower t-shirt with a little sadness on her face, she leans her neck to the right to move past the bad news she prepares to deliver.
TRIXIE: "Unfortunately after the past Saturday show; WCG Crossroads, my tag team partner is taking time away from pro wrestling. Beautiful Storm on hold? No…I'm still a beautiful storm. I'm still capable of popping out six to seven superkicks to the Zombie's body and leave her on her knees to taste the dramatic end as she endures a superkick to the back of the head.
Because I've seen the Zombie here in Union, she's nimble. She's a rule breaker. She's an incredible competitor as we've seen here with her wins of Saito. But what Xion showed me is a little, hidden secret.”
Trixie takes a little tap onto her neck as she gets quite the hint of a smirk. Putting the Trixie Championship down on the ring apron; Trixie yanks down the cloth to reveal Kimitsu Zombie on the board with two big red arrows pointing at her neck either side.
TRIXIE: "Neckbreaker and she was out. I find that very enlightening because while I've been under the EWC Prime Brand, my Sexy Neckbreaker move has never been kicked out of. Period. I hit that move and the match ends. If Kimitsu has been paying attention to the Prime shows I've been on, she may know the hashtag: Sexy Neckbreaker From Outta Nowhere.
What that means is she can be nimble, she can break the rules but all I have to do is open myself to one moment in that ring. I'm the Superkick Sentry Gun, with plenty of rounds. I'm the Bad Kitty, cunning and resourceful. I'm the Prime Girl, a face of a global wrestling promotion sent here to Union to face Kimitsu Zombie; a woman I knew from EOW. She's told Xion to take him seriously, I'm taking her seriously.”
Trixie says taking hold of the top of the board and pulls it off the black tripod stand it rested on. Holding it up, black marker in hand, Trixie scribbles on the board: Trixie Champ vs. Potential Trench Champ.
TRIXIE: "No Tornado, no Salvation, no Society. You and Me, sweetie.Trixie Champion vs a real challenge. Test my speed, test my wits and test my morals, Kimitsu, I'm urging you to bring your absolute A-Game, the game that got you recognized for a future shot Trench War. You're a prized fighter that I so want to claim as a victory here in Union. We all know I was robbed of my title shot in my debut, I think it's time I showed people I don't take handouts. I punch, scratch and oh yes, superkick my way to every an all opportunities.
So with you as my opponent, I'm geared up and ready to bring the Firepower.”
Trixie says firmly fixing the board to her ring and blows a kiss to the camera…almost. Trixie wags her finger, showing she's not the flirty girl many believe she is and turns to a scowl, turning her looks to the board, Trixie superkicks it, through it and pulls her leg out to give the camera her growing trademark wave. Fanning her fingers and walks to show she's superkicked the board right on the neck area before it fades to black and the pink text appears:
The Superkick Sentry Gun Trixie will be return in "Lights Out #16" - Washington DC.
