Biography: Finale was trained by Canadian wrestling legend Scott Palmer at the Maple Factory Wrestling Academy in Toronto. There he met his then longtime girlfriend, fellow trainee Ramona Holiday. The two graduated in late 2010 and in early 2011 showed up in the Epic Wrestling Organization. The two came in as part of Czecher’s Nerveracker Security Team. They played this role for a few months, mainly in the background and were ultimately “granted their release”. They were actually being fired by The Board of Directors. From there Finale and Ramona signed with the returning BWF.
Upon their arrival, Finale exacted revenge on the man who fired him, Cody Clark. Finale defeated the BWF Hall of Famer Clark in his debut match and then proceeded to break his arm. Over the course of the next month Finale would win the United States Title as well as defeat the BWF Chairman David Blazenwing, both feats garnering him lots of attention from the mother federation, AoWF. BWF selected Finale as their representative in the AoWF King o’ Extreme Championship match at Honor Bound, where he faced Lucious Starr, Vincent Black and former multi-time World Champion Riona Langly. The contest saw Finale more vicious than ever, showcasing that he was fully capable of doing truly horrible things to his opponents. In the end, his commitment and discipline led him to an impressive victory. This marked the first time a BWF wrestler had laid claim to an AoWF championship.
Following that his career saw a slump as he lost three matches to Matt Stone and one to Lucious Starr. Both of the titles he had worked so hard for were taken from him and he became very dejected. This was followed by embarrassing losses to Star Diamond and rookie Anton Chase. It was not a good month for The Buffalo Butcher and it was capped off with his first opportunity at the BWF World Championship. Heading into the match, things didn’t look good for Super Shredder; he had abandoned Ramona Holiday only days before the big event and worst of all, no one believed in him. However Finale surprised the wrestling world again in that outing and was able to make Anton Chase submit, winning the fatal four way (which also involved Star Diamond and then-champion Emily Corlen) and his first World Title. After the contest, Finale’s brother Godless appeared and together they obliterated the Shelleys and Emily Corlen. They then proceeded to hang the Chairman’s niece, signaling that the tide had indeed changed in BWF.
Finale made his first appearance as BWF World Champion at eWo Supremacy III on July 31st, 2011. He attempted to assist his Alliance of Wrestling Finest cohorts Marvin Wood and The Phoenix in their bid for the eWo World Tag-Team titles but they were ultimately unsuccessful. However the real story was when he appeared later in the night. He came to the ring when it was revealed that Scott Palmer was the true owner of eWo, having owned it since it’s inception. Palmer also revealed his real relationship with Finale and Godless, that being paternal. In one fell swoop the Costigans reclaimed eWo, removing Palmer’s nephew Cody Clark as Chairman.
As BWF World Champion, Finale spent most of his time in eWo. When he did appear on BWF television, he seemed uninspired and bored. He took a couple losses during those weeks and seemed to phone in every performance. Having the champion not really care about the company really hurt BWF moral, some saying it was the key factor in its eventual rebranding.
In what would be his final BWF match, Finale was attacked and then trapped in the ring as it was set on fire. On the next episode of Animosity, Finale taped a segment in which he laid down the BWF World Championship. However that very night, BWF became TGW and the new owner Wade Mason wanted nothing to do with Finale. His pre-taped segment was put on the back burner, aired on the TGW website following the event. Super Shredder claims that Mason was scared that Finale’s ‘burying’ of BWF management would hinder TGW’s launch, so in a final act of defiance, the last BWF World Champion stole back (what he believed to be) his belt before leaving both organizations all together.
In what was a predictable move, Finale signed with Victory Wrestling shortly after. Rumors were flying about where he would end up, but the writing was on the wall after Lisa Seldon and Scott Palmer announced a partnership between eWo and VW. Now officially a member of Victory’s roster, Finale had a new stage in which to irritate and infuriate wrestling fans world wide. However his main goal is as clear as can be – bang the longtime object of his affection, Alexis Sykes. (Never happened.)
At the same time he began a part time career in Rebel Pro Wrestling and his first highlight there saw him defeat his former boss Gabe Shelley in an Ultimate Tables match at Hell-O-Ween 2011. This came just a few short weeks after defeating VW World Champion Johnny Maverick via submission on Victory Wrestling Television. A few days after he beat Shelley, he represented Victory Wrestling in his father's federation eWo when he defeated eWo Hall of Famer Czecher in a brutal Falls Count Anywhere match. Finale then disappeared from wrestling for a short while.
In the fall of 2014 Finale returned to eWo, which was now under the ownership of NOVA. At the returning event “eWo: Revival” Finale wrestled Scott Free and Jonathan Cage in a triple threat match in the main event for the World Championship but following a power outage, all three men were found unresponsive in the ring ending the match in a draw. On the following event Finale defeated Bob Hyden in a Falls Count Anywhere Match and the week after that he bested Father Joshua Acosta, only to be attacked by Jonathan Cage afterward. At the first pay-per-view of Era 6 Finale beat Scott Free and Jonathan Cage to become eWo World Champion. Following that Ash Scion made her debut and made her intention of dethroning Finale clear. On the next episode of Proving Ground Finale and Ash Scion took on Desmond Schon and Emma Winter in a tag team match. Finale and Scion won by DQ after Scon and Winter attacked Finale with a chair. This seriously injured Finale and he was forced to vacate the title.
Finale has not wrestled since vacating the championship, which was over three years ago. eWo would close (again) and Finale attempted to revive it in 2016, however, it ultimately failed and the company was laid to rest for good. In 2017 Finale joined his brother’s promotion Elysium Pro Wrestling as color commentator and this reignited his passion, he began training for an in-ring return. Following Godless’ disappearance Finale was forced to take over Elysium as President but he is still entertaining a part-time return to the ring...
