So I bought this yesterday.
It's the game I've wanted for a long time. An open world shooter set in the north american countryside really appeals to me, as a kid who grew up in the sticks. It's different enough from the usual Ubisoft formula too - in that I don't have to climb a bunch of goddamn radio towers and it has actual side missions - so that the entire experience ends up feeling like something closer to a Bethesda game with that wild free roaming thing.
It's really something. I'm going to lose so much time to this game, I can already feel it. Just wish making money in game was earlier but that's them trying to funnel you into microtransactions. -_-
I got this early last week. I've been lost in Montana ever since. Such an amazingly simple game, with so much fun stuff to do. The side missions don't feel repetitive yet, and I'm actually enjoying the side characters a lot too. Their not assholes like the FC4 'Good Guys' either.
And yeah Money is a problem at first, but I'm at a stage now where I've upgraded the main weapons I will use perfectly, so the rest of my money can be used on new vehicles.
